Programs
Performing Artz
This program is rehearsal time for any up coming shows and concerts. As well as rehearsing new routines, the feeling of being included, gaining confidence, and being a valued member of our team is of utmost importance to us. We also use this time to practice our group orchestra, where participants are given an opportunity to learn to play different instruments while working together as a group.
Stepz
Our Stepz program is a chance to get the whole body moving in the mornings. We have an extensive list of dances that we run through,
always adding new routines to our repertoire using both modern music and some of the classics!
Mediaz
This program covers a wide variety of Media including photography, script writing, filming, acting, drama, set and costume design. Mediaz
will have something for everyone as participants will have the opportunity to engage and learn more about a variety of media streams.
Creative Mindz
Our Creative Mindz program is all about exploring our individual creativity through art. We develop skills such as fine motor skills, creative thinking and artistic expression. Working both as individuals and also on occasion using teamwork to create group projects.
ALLSORTZ
Allsortz is an enjoyable and easy way to finish the week with your friends! Our afternoon assortment may include things like disco, singing, fun orchestra, games or group activities.
Harmonyz
Our Colourz Choir rehearse more formalized group songs in a relaxed setting, with the addition of incorporating Auslan. This gives our participants a chance to sing in a group setting which can offer a feeling of comfort and security for people feeling apprehensive about singing in front of an audience.
It’s also a chance to expand our knowledge of Auslan, making the songs performed by the choir more inclusive.
Spotlightz
Performance practice and stage confidence takes
centre stage during our Spotlight session! Each person is given the opportunity to perform a song of their choice on stage with microphones, while everyone else enjoys the show, singing along, dancing and playing instruments.
DANCE STYLEZ
Dance Stylez is a new program where we learn different styles of dance in more depth. The style of dance will vary to include such styles as, Salsa, Tango, Waltz, and Hip Hop.
MOVEMENTZ
This is the perfect program to explore our physical skills, as well as working on both our teamwork and independent skill development.
A wide variety of physical based activities will be offered during the year, including both indoor and outdoor options.

Today at Colourz we complete an activity- How to be the sunshine in someone’s cloudy day ? As a group we spoke about how to ask our friends if they’re ok, and what to do to help cheer someone up if they’re feeling down. 💛What is R U OK DAY?💛 R U OK? is a national suicide prevention charity and registered public health promotion that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times. @ruokanyday
